  • Email: Email [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT: email address]
What if I prefer telehealth?

We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients who prefer or need to meet virtually. When you schedule, just let us know you're interested in telehealth and we'll set that up for you.

How long is a session?

Standard sessions are 50-60 minutes. Initial intake sessions may be slightly longer to gather information and establish goals. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT: your specific session lengths]

How often should I come?

Session frequency depends on your needs and goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others prefer bi-weekly or monthly appointments. We'll work with you to find a schedule that supports your progress.

Do you accept insurance?

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Everything you share with us is confidential and protected under counseling laws. There are some limits to confidentiality (such as if someone is in immediate danger or if a child is being abused), but we'll discuss these clearly with you at the start of your first session.

You can also review our full Notice of Privacy Practices in your intake paperwork.

Do you work with children?

Yes! We work with children [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT: age range]. We use age-appropriate approaches and often work collaboratively with parents or caregivers.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring:

  • A photo ID
  • Insurance card (if applicable)
  • A list of any current medications
  • Any recent medical records or notes from your doctor (optional but helpful)
How do I choose between in-person and telehealth?

Both are effective, and the choice is yours:

  • In-person offers face-to-face connection and can feel more grounded, especially for first sessions
  • Telehealth offers convenience and flexibility, plus the privacy of your own space

Some clients even split their sessions between in-person and telehealth. We're flexible based on what works best for you.

Is Horizon Pathways Wellness HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. All our clinical practices meet HIPAA requirements. Your health information is protected and handled with care.

What if I'm in crisis?

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or having thoughts of self-harm:
